Keep the warmth in the room. With excellent thermal insulation, SELITAC® 5 mm protects your floor from cooling down. It also achieves top values in impact and footstep sound insulation. Additionally, it compensates for unevenness up to 4 mm and protects your floor from damage caused by heavy loads and falling objects.
Before installation, note: The substrate must be checked according to CEN/TS 14472 before installing the floor. It must be such that proper processing is possible. In general, the substrate should be clean, level, dry, tensile and compressive resistant, and free of substances such as plasticizers, solvents, or other diffusing substances. Textile floor coverings must be removed before installation. Installation on ceramic tiles, linoleum, or wooden floors is possible with restrictions, as substrate markings may occur. It must be ensured that the substrate is in a state of equilibrium moisture and that the CM value is below 2.0% (for cement screed) or below 0.5% (for anhydrite screed and anhydrite flowing screed). The processing instructions of the floor manufacturer must be observed as binding requirements.
