The S730 SANITÄR SILICON PRO cures by moisture exposure into an extremely durable, odorless, and flexible material. It offers excellent resistance to many chemical substances and adheres without primer to surfaces such as tiles, plastics, and a variety of other materials. If necessary, a primer can be used to improve adhesion; own tests are recommended. Adhesion is not given on oil- or bitumen-containing substrates, polyethylene, polypropylene, and Teflon.
The S730 SANITÄR SILICON PRO is equipped with a protective mechanism but is corrosive to non-ferrous metals such as copper and zinc as well as untreated metals like steel and iron. It is not suitable for aquarium construction and not suitable for use on concrete, marble, lead, copper, and galvanized steel.
The S730 SANITÄR SILICON PRO is suitable for connection and expansion joints both indoors and outdoors, for example in sanitary areas for sealing joints between tiles and sanitary fixtures such as bathtubs, washbasins, or shower basins.
